David Huval Sr. has designed, inspected, rated and constructed bridges across Louisiana and the Southeastern United States for over 50 years.
His experience includes highway and railroad bridges, roadways, cofferdams and caissons. He is familiar with federal and state government procedures.
He has designed and managed a number of large projects as a consultant, general manager for a steel erection contractor, bridge design engineer for Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and highway engineer for the Federal Highway Administration. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a licensed Professional Land Surveyor.
Since 1989, Mr. Huval has served as Secretary/Treasurer of C.E.C., Inc. (C.E.C.) and President of Huval & Associates, Inc. and participates in the management and guidance of C.E.C.
With C.E.C., Mr. Huval is heavily involved in the bid process, performing project estimates and reviewing potential issues with projects pursued by C.E.C. He also plays a very active role in ongoing C.E.C. construction projects by devising sound engineering solutions to issues that arise during the construction process.”
Mr. Huval’s role with Huval & Associates includes work as design engineer, project engineer, project manager, quality assurance officer, and firm principal.
