C.E.C. strives to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel associated with each project. C.E.C. maintains a comprehensive safety and health program which addresses specific safety concerns and provides guidance for job task performance within the framework of OSHA and other applicable standards. The safety program contains policies and procedures to deal with common workplace hazards, specific job-related hazards, and potential hazards.

Hazard assessment, project pre-planning, and engineering controls, where feasible, are the preferred methods of providing a safe workplace. C.E.C. maintains a training program that provides employees the ability to recognize workplace hazards and to understand the proper procedural and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. C.E.C. also utilizes Safety Alliance organizations to implement continuous training of the C.E.C. safety program with on-site and off-site implementation of safety procedures. Additionally, C.E.C. employs an on-staff safety program coordinator and trainer.

Safety demands a commitment from all C.E.C. personnel. C.E.C. has an obligation to ensure that all employees and individuals associated with all C.E.C. projects are afforded the protection of an appropriate safety program. The success of the C.E.C.’s safety effort depends on all employees from senior management to the newest hire, as well as subcontractors, demonstrating a commitment to safety by working in a safe manner. Safe job performance is how C.E.C.’s safety effort will ultimately be measured.
